The Sunday afternoon feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway saw a seven-length romp as Painted Desert and driver Corey MacPherson win in 1:55.3. The top class victory was one of three on the program for MacPhersonAstros bench coach Alex Cora will be changing teams after the World Series. The Red Sox have announced that they have hired Cora to replace John Farrell as manager. He played four of his 14 major league seasons with Boston before retiring in 2011.
