Charlottetown Police arrested a 64 year old city man on impaired driving charges while conducting road checks on Hillsborough and Kent Streets ealry Saturday morning.
Two roadside suspensions were also issued to people who were found operating vehicles after consuming alcohol.
Friday morning, Charlottetown police arrested a 27 year old city man on impaired driving charges after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of St. Peters Road and the bypass.
He was found to be nearly three times over the legal limit for alcohol.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the QEH.
The accused now faces a Provincial Court appearance.
