The City of Charlottetown says good progress was made in the Queens Arm storm pipe replacement project at the major intersection of North River Road, Capital Drive and Lower Malpeque Road.
Excavating and trench work began last week and was expected to be completed by last Friday.
A crane is to arrive today for work that will begin on Monday to move large concrete box sections in the trench.
The 160 tonne crane will be in operation.
The project is on schedule and good progress has been made.
Businesses near the interesction have remained open to local traffic and will remain that way.
