It was a good night for the UPEI Panthers with wins all around on Thursday.
All the action was at Mount A. The Women’s Soccer Panthers blanked Mount A 1-0, while the Men’s Soccer Panthers picked up a 3-0 win over the Mounties.
The Men’s Rugby Panthers were also at Mount A, and came away with a 63-7 win.
Buckaroo cemented himself into history Thursday night at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
With Marc Campbell at the controls in his division of the P.E.I. Colt Stakes, Buckaroo won in 2-minutes and 2-5ths and earned himself the title of Atlantic Canada’s fastest ever two-year-old trotter. The victory erased Waiting On A Woman’s 2-minutes and 4-5ths track and Atlantic Canadian record in 2010.
