The $7-million runway project at the Charlottetown Airport is now complete.
A 2-thousand-foot extension was added to the Airport’s second runway.
The extension was needed because the main runway has to be shut down for much of next year for upgrades. This will also give the airport two runways that can handle commercial planes, and crosswind situations.
The project was on-budget and on-time.
