Charlottetown is proving to be a hot spot for cruise ship passengers.
36-thousand passengers and crew have come ashore so far this season — passenger counts are up 42 per cent, and crew counts are up 16 per cent.
That meant about 10-million-dollars in direct and indirect economic impact for Prince Edward Island, with the traditionally busier months of September and October still ahead.
