A disappointing outcome Sunday for Ryan Bradley of Stratford.
Ryan had trained for months to take part in The Big Swim on Sunday. In fact, he was the only islander among the 50 swimmers to take part in the fundraiser that would see him and the others swim between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
However, with the weather and rough water conditions yesterday, the event had to be cancelled.
It was the first time in seven years organizers had to cancel The Big Swim.
