Team PEI athletes for the second week of the Canada Games arrived safely in Winnipeg on Saturday while the week one athletes returned home.
Competition for the second week picks up Monday with Island athletes taking part in boys soccer and girls softball and other sports like canoe/kayak, cycling, golf, tennis, volleyball, wrestling and swimming.
PEI still looking for its first medal at the Summer Games.
Ontario .leads with 90 medals including 35 gold.
B.C. has 26 gold and 61 medals.
Quebec with 51 medals including 21 gold.
The top Atlantic provinces team is Nova Scotia with 2 gold and 15 medals.
New Brunswick has won 8 medals.
