Hot dry weather and little rain in the past month has the town concerned.
Kevin McCarville, the Cornwall chief administrative officer says higher than average water use has depleted the town’s reservoir.
Residents are being asked to stop watering lawns and gardens and washing vehicles, driveways and the sides of buildings.
Repairs are being made on a well that should provide about 100 gallons of water per minute. That job will take two to three weeks and help the situation.
