Members of the new Regional Economic Advisory Councils meet for the first time Thursday in Stanley Bridge.
The councils are made up of 26 Island business and community leaders, and the four regional councils were struck to guide and develop economic growth across the Island.
They’ll work to identify both economic drivers in the region, and opportunities to grow the population; as well as advise on labour development initiatives and strategic infrastructure development.
