There were a number of arrests made over the weekend in PEI for impaired.
Early Sunday morning, the RCMP was patrolling in the Grand Tracadie area when an officer spotted a vehicle being driven erratically.
The officer decided to conduct a traffic stop and the woman driving showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken to the police station and breath samples showed her to be well over two times the legal limit. The 20 year-old Charlottetown woman is scheduled to appear in Charlottetown Court in August, on charges of Impaired.

At about 1:35 am Saturday, Charlottetown Police officers conducting routine patrols on Queen Street spotted a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. Police stopped the vehicle, and determined that the driver, a 30 year old Charlottetown man, was impaired.
About 55 minutes later, Charlottetown Police saw a vehicle that was being driven on Prince Street without the headlights turned on. Police stopped the vehicle and determined the driver, a 28 year old Charlottetown man, was impaired.
