Breaking a court issued curfew has lead to drug charges against a Charlottetown man.
Summerside Police say around 4:30 Sunday morning, they arrested a 35 year old Charlottetown man for breaching his Undertaking. The man was to abide by a curfew and not be absent from his residence from midnight to 6 AM when police found him getting out of a taxi in Summerside.
After the man was arrested, police found the man to be in possession of a large amount of drugs (suspected cocaine and methamphetamine) and a prohibited weapon.
The man faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in relation to the drugs, breach of undertaking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The man remains in custody and faces a court date Wednesday.
