A new poll by MQO Research shows support among decided and leaning voters is holding steady for the PEI Liberals and Progressive Conservatives.
The poll was done in July and it shows the Liberals with 39% support, which is on par with April’s poll. The PC Party has 31% support, also relatively unchanged from three months ago. The Green party of PEI has 22% support and the NDP 7%
MQO says ratings for the leadership of Premier Wade MacLauchlan also held steady in July.
The poll shows islanders are gaining some optimism. 21 percent indicated that the general outlook in PEI was “getting better,” which is up from 16 percent in April.
