A water safety message from the RCMP after an incident in Charlottetown Harbour on Sunday.
Police were called to people in distress in the Charlottetown Harbour after their machine flipped over. They were assisted by other boaters and brought back to shore, and no injuries were reported.
The RCMP remind you to stay safe on the water by not following too closely behind other personal water crafts; be on the lookout for other boaters and swimmers; and use an ignition cutoff switch or lanyard, and attach it to your life-jacket.
