Josh Donaldson and Troy Tulowitzki launched three run homers as the Toronto Blue Jays came back to drop the Houston Astros, 7-2. Marcus Stroman, who was not picked for the All-Star Game improved to 9-5 and was dominant.
Rookie Clint Frazier hit a walk-off three run homer in the 9th after an RBI triple in the 7th helping the NY Yankees edge Milwaukee, 4-3.
Boston is 3.5 up on the Yankees this morning in the A.L. East losing 1-0 in Tampa Bay. Alex Cobb fired his 7th win. Rick Porcello, now 4-11 took the loss.
Baltimore over Minnesota, 5-1. Jonathan Schoop got his 18th homer and Mark Trumbo got his 14th.

The Metro Mudcats moved into first place in New Brunswick Junior Baseball sweeping the PEI Juniors, 3-1 and 5-2. The Mudcats are 13-2. PEI is 13-5, 1.5 games out. The Islanders host the Saint John Jr. Alpines at noon today in a doubleheader.

PEI’s Under 13 girls will meet New Brunswick for the gold medal at 2.00 in the Atlantic Soccer Championships. PEI downed New Brunswick, 3-1 and has a win and two ties in the tournament in Charlottetown.
The Under 14 girls will play New Brunswick for the bronze.
In Corner Brook, PEI’s Under 13 and Under 14 boys are in the bronze medal games

There are 12 races on the program.
The Eliminations go in Races 11 and 12 with the top four finishers from each race going to the final this coming Saturday.
In the 11th Hot Deuce with Walter Cheverie is the favourite in the first Elimination.
Mr. Irresistible, Crombie A, Forver Paradise and Mando Fun also in the field of eight.
In the 12th, it’s Do Over Hanover with Marc Campbell the favourite in the second elimination. Invictus Hanover and Junebugs Baby among others in the eight horse field.
