A busy Canada Day weekend in Charlottetown.
Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy and Lennie Gallant will headline the Canada Day stage at the new cultural pavilion in Victoria Park. Several other artists will also be showcased on Canada Day, including the 2017 ECMA Indigenous Artist of the Year, War Horses.
The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Canadian Champions Trophy, featuring the top eight athletes from the country, will take place in Victoria Park Friday night and Saturday.
The Tall Ships Regatta free deck tours are available to public Friday from 2-4 p.m. at Port Charlottetown and Queen’s Wharf and again from 4-7 p.m. at Port Charlottetown. On Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2, deck tours are available from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at both Port Charlottetown and Queen’s Wharf. The Parade of Sails will begin at approximately 8:50 a.m. Friday morning and wrap up at approximately noon.
