Kings District RCMP is reporting that two vehicle stops this week saw the drivers taken off the roads.
On Wednesday night, a vehicle was stopped in Mount Albion and it turns out the driver had a suspended licence. The 22 year old man was issued a $275 ticket and his vehicle was towed from the scene and will be impounded for 30 days as he had prior suspension convictions.
Shortly after 2:30 Thursday morning, police checked a vehicle in Souris and found that 19 year-old Souris man driving had been drinking alcohol. A breath sample showed him to be over the legal limit. He was arrested for impaired, taken to the Souris RCMP Detachment, and his vehicle was towed.
